Douglas Gordon

Douglas Gordon (*1966) conceptually deals with movies, texts, photography and video installations for which he uses historical material. Douglas Gordon became famous with his film installation Psycho, in which he extended Hitchcock’s original for a period of 24 hours. In 1996 he received the Turner-Prize. In 1997, he participated in the Biennale in Venice.
