Aram Bartholl (engl.)

Aram Bartholl (* 1972 in Bremen) studied at the Universität der Künste Berlin. His work centres on the interaction between Internet, culture and reality, looking into how the versatile communication channels influence social structures. The tension between publicness and privacy, online and offline, the love affair with technology and everyday life form the core of his work. In public interventions and installations, Bartholl examines which sectors of the digital world reach into reality in which way.
